"A wizard is never late, Frodo Baggins. Nor is he early; he arrives precisely when he means to." it happens when it happens. don't try to guess but you will become more familiar with the process over time. trust the trichomes. assess the pistils. use more than 1 observation to help you consistently harvest at a similar point -- until you know your proference, experiment by taking some buds early or later than your normal harvest (or if you ware shooting for a ton of amber trichomes, take a cola at varying points before, obviously) see what you like. ignore trichomes on leaves. 10-50% amber? some want even more. That's more of an art than a science trying to guestimate what percentage of trichomes on the plant are amber. focus on the bulk and best buds. don't look at trichomes on leaves. calyxes only. google image search for visual aids. another visual cue is whehther it looks like glass (less ripe) or plastic (more ripe)

I see you haven't updated in 4 weeks. That's a 8-9 wk flowering strain (all phenos varie) but, been only 4-5wks in. You should be pushing another 3-4 wks But going by trichomes 90-95% cloudy 30%-40% ambers trichomes (that's amber in the actual trichomes, not the pistils/hairs) so, you'll see amber in cloudy trichomes that's level of your THC in your plant. That, we can't tell. Here's something to help you cprosolutions,com/the-different-stages-of-trichome-development/ . S are , need changing in link

Your taking pictures of the leaf you need too be checking the trichomes on the actuall buds. When 10/30 % amber I see alot of people harvest. Check the buds all over the plant as it may be different on the lower buds. If the top colas show they are ready but the flowers arent then you can partially harvest and chop the colas that are ready 👊

Well you really can only go by looking at 1st pic. You don't go by checking the sugars. As they're somewhat independent of the bud trichomes and get direct light. You need to go off the bud. And unless you've a close up with a loop. Not a zoom on camera
