When I have to harvest the latest?

In one week, I have to go on a trip for 5 days.
Should I chop plant now or just before the trip?
If I chop it down now, can I keep it in the air drying room for two weeks?
I read that when curing in jars, it needs to be burbed every day and I cant do that while I am away.

I would give her another week at least, so chop just before you leave, or even possibly wait till you're back to chop.
Drying in good conditions usually takes 10 to 14 days, so it'll be fine to dry while you're away

Do it just before the trip. By the time you get back she will probably only have a week left of drying to do.

Help during curing!Currently curing and it smells good in the jar but when taking a bud out and smoking it taste and smells planty. Got humidity pack 55% and 1st week of curing, hottest temps hit round 24 deg but quickly brought back down.

The Hunt for Amber Trichomes- How long till Harvest?It’s D85 of advertised 75days and I’m struggling with the wait.
Most of white pistils are result of foxtails. (Which I am ok with)
Feels like it’s gone on ages but I can’t see any amber trichomes, and it’s not clear if they’re milky yet!

Best way to cure your harvest? Any tips or best practices would handy. I know I need mason jars and humidity packs and a dark place. I read I should leave the plant alive but in total darkness for 3 days before I harvest? I am so confused, but I know curing is very important.5y ago

Am I too far already? Hard to get trichomes rightI got a Mpehisto sour stomper, today on day 67. Two pics from bottom colas, two from top.
From what I can see, I see mostly see though trichomes, some cloudy and a tiny bit amber (sugar leaf?), but not enough yet for peak harvest. Any help appreciated as it is my first grow.Other. Harvest - Drying
