First ever grow/germination

Hello my fellow weed lovers 👋🏻. This is my first ever grow so any help or advice along the way would be greatly appreciated. I started with 10 Big Yield auto seeds, however 2 didn’t germinate and 1 died not long after sprouting. Is this normal or have I f**ked up somewhere? 😁

Its hard to say. They could of been improperly stored by the breeder or you. During shipping they could of gotten to hot and died. Your paper towel looks a little to wet which could of drown the seeds( rare to happen ). When you planted your tools/hands could of had bad bacteria on them and killed the taproot. Or it could of broke when you planted it. The soil used could of had some fungus growth right where the seed popped and killed it( damping off) So many variables that could cause a seed to not germinate or die right away. 70% success rate means your doing something right and that is what matters Happy Growing and good luck

Hey man. It's very random My 1st run i had 5 for 5. This time lucky if I got a 70% to go for me. I changed nothing. Very same. Sometimes you get lucky. But 7 outta 10 is pretty darn good. Good luck.

you probably didnt fuck up seeds get old or just dont germinate etc. try soaking them in 1% hydrogen peroxide for 12-24hrs next time. that should give you even better germination rates.

Happens... Might be not enough water or to much of it, could be bad seeds or wrong tending. Dont worry you got enough left to drown you in bud if you dont mess it up badly.

I germinated 10 and 2 didn't make it,two small ones, biggest seedling at early doors is now the smallest. It's nature, you always need a bit of luck! Don't stress and try not to "care too much" which can always be fatal. Patience, early stages are all about the stuff you don't see underground rather than progress from above! Good luck 🌱 enjoy the grow and learn from it,is the best advice on first grows!
