Depends on the plant cycle but for example on my 1000w mars hydro on seedlings stage I keep them around 24 inches from plant. As the plant grows I lower it though itâs stages. This also depends on the light you are using. Best accurate way to know is using a PAR Meter and measure the PPMâs per cycles.

It depends on Which kind of lamp are you using, you should find the spec's of your lamp in the website or try to do a research of your lamp model...
As I have a 150W LED with dimmer i let them 50% power efficiency around 10 to 15 cm from the seedlings..

What Pot Size for my next Grow. 80x80cm Tent Size, currently using 11L fabric Pots, not happy with size of plants and fear less yieldCurrently using 11L fabric Pots and with around 7 weeks of Veg the plants aren't bigger then 80cm after stretch.
