depends on temperatures... keep it below 60-65% if not tightlying controlling things. to be safe, 60% is probably a better target as that gives you some leeway, like the others suggest.
40-65% is generally safer to avoid various microbial growth. it does not prevent such problems, though... merely reduces risk.
can less humidity increase trichomes? maybe... but if it creates a resulting whacky VPD, the negatives may be greater than the positives... without good scientific studies on such things, there are too many moving variables to be ultra confident about such things. i'd suggest focusing on reducing microbial risks more than a small increase to trichomes, if it is even true.
so many things are done just because someonen did it once and talked about it... no comparison. no baseline... these people start urban myths with faux-confidence. then it's a knife fight to stamp out things that are proven wrong later... like the usefulness of end of harvest flushing.
