You must have mould in some buds, no other option. Check each bud individually and break open larger ones and dispose of any mouldy buds as they are dangerous for consumption

If the maybe you did dry and cure properly.... People don't stress enough to dry at cool temps below 18 degress if possible in lower humidity. Around 50-60% humidity. Nothing higher... I like to remove fanleaf first. Let ut pre dry and do a rough trim after day 5. And let dry some more. Eventually removing the bud and letting it rack dry as cool as possible then a do a clean trim and jar and watch every day twice to burp or lay it to air out 20-30 minutes. I do this for a weeor 2. Then i start burping every other day . I even put it in the refrigerator to slowdown process let it sit at room temperature before burping. If its goid product it will come out strong.. and i'll know if i cut early from taste smell and high.. you've might have cut to early.

A friend of mine also mentioned that he thinks they smell musty / rotten. The buds are really dense for sure and I also had quite a high humidity in flowering around 60 % . Although every other plant / buds appeared normal and high grade. I also inapected every big bud and cracked them up to see if there is mold inside. But I found nothing. Do you think I should make butter out of it? It got a lot od resin. But it smells disgusting
