I have grown this plant outside from a seed it is just over 1 month old & appears to be flowering. RQS Special Queen not autoflowering Questions Is it flowering? If so could I have done something to promote this? It feels way too early in the life cycle to be flowering

Okay, I understand what's happening now. Thank you to everyone who replied. If you look at my diaries I have a few grows going, some from seeds some from bought clones. The seed I bought from Queens House was a 50/50 Sativa and needs more darkness, that is now clear The 2 other flowering plants were bought clones that I now suspect were originally grown under lights, now that they are outdoors, again there is not enough darkness. I have another group of bought Lemon Kush clones - It remains to be seen what will happen but I suspect they started out under lights. My last group of plants were all grown from seeds, by me, outdoors from seeds that came from plants grown outdoors locally - It should not be a surprise that these plants look the best, it remains to be seen what the quality will be however! I now have more info to put into seed/genetic choices for the next grow.

Regarding to your sunlight situation I only might suggest you to grow autos. Also I heard that some photoperiodic are not so sensitive to amount of a sunlight but never took a deal with them. Only suggestion to use some artificial light to prolong your light time to 16/8, how you will do it depends from your situation :)

I have some (unidentified) Thai strains that I have also grown from seeds that are maybe a couple of weeks behind this plant so we will see if the same thing happens. I also have friends who grow outdoors and their plants seem to mature along the lines you would expect, however the quality is not usually so good. It seems the challenge will be finding a plant that will grow outdoors in Thailand, and provides reasonable yields of reasonable quality. All this must surely have been done before given Thailands history in this field? There is a (low quality) strain here called Squirrel Tail that is available everywhere, other landrace strains are harder to find maybe this is the reason why? .Any ideas anyone?

You are 12 / 12 from seed, yes that is normal veg growth time for that light cycle

Yes it is flowering, and is due to the amount of light it is getting in the day. The day time hours are too short causing the plant to flower. Autoflowers don't obey light times. It means nothing to them. If you wish to grow photoperiods there you may need to research strains that have native roots to your area. If you want to grow them outside. I have had this problem before with trying to start my vegetable garden, and moving them outside too soon. It will either continue to flower or reveg if day time hours get longer.

Yes it is flowering. And it's due to long nights. Now reading your comment it makes sense since you have 12/12 day/night cycles. An autoflower would run its full course regardless of day night but it needs more light (minimum of 18/6) in order to have some good yields. But if you just want some yield, you can go for it, or try taking it inside during the night and putting it under some good lighting.

I livd in Thailand so our day/night hours don't vary too much summer to winter maybe it moves by 1 hour. We are getting about 12/12 - day/night right now Would an auto flowering plant run its expected lifecycle regardless of the day/night hours ratio?

a photoperiod only flowers when it has a long enough uninterrupted dark cycle. So, your hours of darkness caused this to happen. Take note of the date, becaue most photoperiods will flower around the same point.. figure at least 3 weeks ago it started flowering, i bet, based on development on plant. it's a hormonal response.. in dark hours a particular hormone is produced. the moment enough of it exists in the plant, the plant reacts and switches gears. any interruption of dark period was casuse a re-vege to an already blooming plant, but if you blast it with light before it starts flowering for an hour or 2 at night, you might be able to aviod it in future. or add 2 hours at end of day etc... > 10 hours of darkness is what you want to avoid. not all plants will flower with a 10 hour dark period but some will. the 12/12 cycle is just to be safe for indoor growers. 13/11 is relatively safe too, but i've heard a small percentage may still flower under that.

yea look like entering the flowering stage u can't do anything about it just let it be. (when white hair pop-up is entering flowering) I never grew outside but looks like u plant the seed too early that why it starts flowering fast (the day is short) outside growers start in April and finish in August something like that. I hope this help :)
