Temperature and Humidity Levels in My Tent

Wendylicious
Wendyliciousstarted grow question 3 years ago
The temperature in my 4x2x4 grow tent is b/t 79-82F and the best I've been able to achieve is 39-40% humidity. I've heard indicas like it on the cooler side. 3 plants growing well so far. Think my conditions are OK?

In vegging plants prefer 85 degrees but flowering I do about 82. I run multiple plants in different stages in one area. I run 81 to 83 degrees non stop with no temp problems. Humidity I like to try to keep in 60's. But outside weather effects it.

Indica varieties do prefer colder climate and perform better in them but usually when a plant needs a change it'll show it! If your plants don't show any signs of radiation/heat stress and damage then you have nothing to worry about, your tent climate is pretty good in terms of temps but don't let it go over 28 degrees Celsius (82-83f) unless you intend to use a Co2 system. As for your humidity at this stage getting it to about 60-70% would be best, but 40-50% would be good too (can also be sustained throughout the whole grow with good air circulation). Try getting a small humidifier for your tent, it'll raise the humidity quite easily and will keep it stable! if a humidifier is too much for you then a wet towel (make sure it doesn't touch the plants to avoid mold/mildew) hanging in the grow space might help increasing the humidity. Hope this helps! Good luck and happy growing :)
