Hey Growmies ☺️ Has anyone had problems with their bud testing at higher levels for metal? I was told not to use Ocean Forest or Tiger Bloom bc it causes elevated levels (for medical) I personally haven’t had my weed tested, just wondering if anyone else has heard of this?

Love to see the source if any have one. Doing the google thing it seems since it is a bioremediator in the extreme its going to put out whatever is in that soil. Good point

I read an article a while back about this. Can't say for sure about the tiger bloom or the soil you listed but California, Oregon and some other states are requiring fertilizers to be registered to be sold and they must have them lab tested to make sure the metal levels are ok. In California, there is a list you get through CDFA. Unfortunately since it is a new "legal" market and still federally illegal it is hard to do enough research. There is still a lot of testing to be done to see what the long term effects are of these metals. When I heard this my first thought was, well people are eating food with these metals, but I guess smoking them released them into the body differently. Definitely something I am sure we will be learning a lot about in the next few years I hope.

@Greengirl420 Thats the first time I have heard that one , but I do know certain types of water like from a well etc can hold lots of metal but a RO filter can fix that . Not sure how you would go about solving the problem if it's already in the soil?? What metals are we talking anyway? Iron and zinc are beneficial to the plants .
