Generally its not about the best food, apart from playing a part in over all plant health that matters, but good genetics is everything. To get the best flowers, your plant needs to be in prime health and be growing under the very best lights, if not sun light. Big dense flowers are a combination of genetics and optimum growing conditions, not just nutrients. I grow in the ground organically, outdoors and in full sun and do not use mineral fertilizers at all, but can grow buds so dense and hard that you need an axe to cut them up! I also only grow photo period plants and never autos, due to bad experiences with autos - think genetic mutants, runts, hermies, and poor yields too often.
So, generally, bulk lights + bulk health = bulk flowers.
In the past, I have used GHE Flora Nova Grow and Flora Nova Bloom one part nutrients and the Bio Canna range, Bio Vega and Bio Flores with great success. Both these lines of nutrients are one bottle for grow and one bottle for flower, which means no mixing with this or that, just open the bottle and use, making growing and feeding super simple and both these lines are very concentrated, meaning you need to use very little and a bottle will last many grows. When growing indoors I would suggest buying the best/strongest lights you can afford. Your plants rely on photosynthesis to make energy to grow and for peak growth you need the peak performance in lighting. I would suggest HPS and Metal Halide globes over LEDs if you are after super nuggets.
