Flush duration in DWC

Cremo
Cremostarted grow question 4 years ago
Okay, so here's the deal. A lot of people say that flushing should take a week or two. BUT flushing DWC could take only as little as 2 days. Is that true or does the medium really not matter at all? THX :)

I've gone 0 days to a week for my flush and really don't notice much of a difference. Some plants I've given a longer flush don't burn as white as others with a shorter flush. I found it is more important to lower the feed (EC .6/7 and lower) the last 10 days or so. I like to do 2-4 days for my flush. The plants I have in flower now I am going to do 2 res changes of new water and see if that makes a difference. good luck.

Medium matters Soil is slowest if flushing mineral salts simply due to being able to move less water through it. A week to 2 common. Coco is a bit faster being hydro prob 1/2 the time for soil, Four to seven days. DWC yeah 2 days should do it Use of a flushing agent will speed things up
