So these are starting week 8 of flower - I just started flushing these- they’re in coco. Within the last day or so they’re developing these rust colored orange areas on the edge of sugar leaves. Is this just natural during flush with coco? Or what’s going possibly goin on? Thanks

Yes, basically she is running on empty and staring to show signs of shutting down/dying. I would harvest sooner rather than later, they are plenty mature enough and way beyond what I would consider as my own personal level of preferred maturity, but hey, each to their own! Cheers, Organoman.

I forgot to say thanks for the clear, close up pictures taken in natural light! It makes it so much easier to give an opinion when you can actually see what the question is about. I just wish everybody would do it! Nothing is worse than jerky video vision under blurple lights taken from 6 feet away and panning all over the place erratically and showing nothing valuable! Thanks again!!

Thanks guys.. yeah I’ve read the study on flushing by “RX green technologies” which was eye opening but I still choose to do a quick flush at the end before harvest.. this color is just weird. I expected yellows and orange but this is like straight up rust color. Truly appreciate the input from yall tho, gave me some confidence.

Flushing is largely useless. If you must then remember that it's only a 1 week flush for coco. You will see yellowing, wilting, etc. Best you can hope for is that it spreads evenly and hits fan leaves first. Looks normal. The sugar leaves will purple and yellow, then die. Most sugar leaves should make it through the flush.

If your going to a fade and harvest in 2 weeks it is gonna be natural. the plant will use all stored nutrients and will see deficiencies as it goes with no nutrition in substrate. Good luck and happy growing 🌲🌲🌲👊
