Led on 18/6 grow/flower photoperiod

I have the idea to put a led in my second tent for pre growing photoperiod girls, I have some room left over for some autoflowers who also grow & flower on 18/6 light - leds can switch between grow/flower.
If I switch the led to flower will that be OK for my photoperiod girls?

Hi Growmie,
assuming that you have a blurple light, I believe its not really ok to just switch the led to just the flower(bloom) mode as the photo needs a particular light in order for them to grow, might be ok but you'll notice a slow growth.
you can still use VEG while flowering no need to switch the LED to just flower i dont see any issue with them having VEG&Flower on at the same time it wont trigger you photo to flower as you are on 18//6 light schedule if you change it to 12/12 then it'll start to flower regardless.

I have a very similar setup... on my led, I have both veg/bloom switches on.... all the time.... plants love it whatever stage their at... except seedling 😂

Light intensityMy plants have been looking sad for a couple weeks. Tried everything then the other night I turned my light down to 40% giving a DLI of 28 they perked right up with 24 hours. I have now put it up to 60% giving a DLI off 39 will this be ok or should I keep it low. Week 2 flower.

Which of the two options do you choose and why:
Option 1: 1440w over 40sqft giving 36w per sqft
Option 2: 1440w over 48sqft giving 30w per sqft.
