Getting ready to go into 48 hours of darkness before harvest. I'll keep it short and sweet should the soil be completely dry before going into it or should I feed then go into darkness?

Should clarify, by feed i mean with PH neutral water, as they have been for the past week 1/2. Ive read using organic (bio canna ranage) you don't have to flush that hard given they are organic no nasty nutes etc... thanks everyone!

Should of been flushed 2 weeks ago and fading to go to darkness. Leave it dry. Your presenting the plant with issues that says time is up. In order to get it to try to defend the flowers more with trichromes last minute. Good luck and happy growing 🌲🌲🌲👊

No point feeding her if going into extended coma, metabolism will be all but stopped by 48 hours of darkness, anyhow. Personally, I wouldn't do it, just because of the super slow metabolism that it will induce, possibly leading to THC breakdown. I also believe this technique to be a myth with no scientific value or proof that it is beneficial to cannabinoid quality or quantity. Also being highly unnatural for the plant, possibly inducing stress and negative effects as a result. Much better to harvest an unstressed and happy plant with an active and functioning metabolism rather than one in metabolic shock and with biosynthetic mayhem. Hope this helps, either way, its your choice alone. ,..... Organoman.

You shouldn't feed them before putting into darkness. you want the plan to get dry and if you water it it going to take some longer time.
