The first two pictures are showing female primordia or as some people call them, "pre-flowers" and are perfectly normal.
However, I am concerned that there seem to be no meristems or growing tips evident, just terminated leaf stems, which is rather odd. This would be a genetic mutation and quite rare, and I am not sure as to how this plant will grow flowers. In picture 2, lower right corner, there seems to be a terminated branch with two leaves being the only growth and with no visible growing tip, which will make growing flowers on that particular branch impossible.
If there are many branches with this deformity, then yield will be drastically reduced. Hopefully there are enough "normal" branches growing, that you can harvest some flowers eventually, but I would be concerned about all the terminated branches without any apparent growing tips.
I hope things work out for you, but you are right, this plant is definitely strange.
Hope this helps,.......
