Do outdoor plants not get the dark they need. Just wondering like street lights moon stars does that cause hardship the way a light leak can mess up a tent. Just wondering should be putting hoods on our outdoors too like a bird. Just wondering peoples take on that philosophy.

I wonder how cannabis made it this far in the world unaided! Bright outdoor lights at night can delay flowering and even prevent it if strong enough, but obviously you wouldn't plant your plants where they are going to be in a spotlight! Otherwise, the moon cycles are what triggers the plants into flowering or not. It is during the dark nights of the "new moon" period that initiates flowering in cannabis. However, moonlight is something that is normal to plants. I have been growing outdoors for 40ish years now and have never had to do anything to my plants to get them to flower properly or ever had any issues with hermaphrodites due to excessive moonlight. Stars just don't emit enough light to affect anything.

while it is true that light pollution can be a problem these days, I suppose this all depends on where you live. If you're growing outdoors then this suggests to me you don't live in a city, so I imagine light pollution won't be a problem for you. If you're genuinely asking about the moon and the stars? Then I'm gonna say that they've been there for much longer than we have been growing weed dude πŸ˜‚ I'd say you're all good. I will say one more thing though, Using hoods seems like an 'all the gear but no idea' technique to me. Spend the money on nutrients instead bro
