ScrOG / Lollipopping / Defoliation

I'm thinking of going for ScrOG for the blooming (which is just starting) – maybe even lollipopping or defoliation. I would love to get some feedback! - What I should bear in mind? - Does my setup look suitable? - When should I start with what? - Any good resources?

I agree with the others.. let it be.. A scrog has to be done with considerations and does a lot better with 1 plant.. With that many plants you'll basically be doing Lst... If your gonna try any defoliation maybe try it on one or two and see how it grows.. Make some of your own observations. See what happens.. See how she grows. Part of the fun of being a hobby grower is the ability to experiment.. We are producing for no one but ourselves so we don't have to do everything the first time.. or even the 100th time. we can mess around :).

Thank you all! I really appreciate all the feedback – awesome to have such a great community to reach out to as a newbie. I'll skip the ScrOG for this grow! Maybe I'll try defoliation on one plant just to se how the end result will differ.

Hey mate! In my opinion, and I personally, do all the techniques that you mention. First of all I would do some l.s.t in your plants right now, to open the plant and create a bigger canopy, and the bottom branches gonna get bigger. 1. Tie down the main branch 2. Tie the secondary branches to open the canopy After that I would remove some big leaves that are blocking the light to pass for some lower branches, you can prune too the little branches that you see that don’t receive almost any light. You can also topping to stop a beet the aptical grow and boost the grow of the secondary branches. After that I would wait maybe 10 days or so, for the plant bushing out. Past that I would put some net sccrog 15-20cm above the branches. When the plant reach the net I would try to open even more the canopy. A week after the 12-12 schedule try to lolipopimg and remove some extra big leaves, let the girls recover and when you move the light schedule they gonna strech a lot 🤙🏻 Wish it helps! If you need some more help just send a message! Cheers !

Just remember, every healthy green leaf you remove will reduce your plants capacity to produce energy. .... Less energy = less growth. Any lollipopping should really have been done before flowering commenced, and I agree with Mr Cannabis, just leave them be and try and learn as much as you can about your set up and the plants requirements during flowering, that you can implement in your next grow and then explore some enhanced growing techniques. As for some information, Grow Diaries have some great articles available in their Journal/Blog section, that will give you many insights into cannabis cultivation. Hope this helps,.... Organoman.

Ya really want an even canopy for scrognet, the idea is to place buds where you want em, your's will have some through the net and some 3 inches under it by the looks, hard to lst when they already have solid stems. I'd leave it as is, looks like plenty of room so good airflow, no need to defol. This your first grow? You itching to do something ; ) I get ya, but IMO best thing is let these grow naturally, they look great.
