So today I noticed a bit of white residue on the leaves. It looks like some minerals that was left form the Water I used when it evaporated. I was using Volvic Mineral Water. PH-7. It does have a lot of Minerals. Should I rethink my water options? Maybe Distilled?

Definitely don't use distilled water, plain old tap water will be just fine. Distilled water by its nature is devoid of any dissolved mineral salts and giving it to your plant will cause the distilled water to draw the dissolved mineral salts from your plants cells out, in an attempt to equalize once again. Basically, reverse osmosis. This can cause your plant to become dehydrated and in worse case scenario, even kill it due to cellular collapse. Mineral water, apart from being expensive, will have the opposite effect, loading your substrate with excessive dissolved mineral salts. Try and avoid getting water/fertilizers on your plants leaves, as you found out this can cause minor burning, which may look unsightly, but in reality, this is insignificant in the over all scheme of things. Hope this helps,..... Organoman.

Use regular tap water. Let it sit for 24 to 48 hours open for chemicals we put in it to drink to evaporate. Don't get leaves wet if possible. Ph of about 6.5 is ideal. Good luck and happy growing 🌲🌲🌲👊
