Why am I seeing orange hairs on my buds so early into flower?

We are at day 18 of flower and we noticed on one of the purple punch plants that on one bud, there are some orange hairs forming and they are wilting. The lights are about 26 inches away and we are watering when the soil is dry. What could be happening?

Those pistils will mature, and as the plant grows further more white pistils (and calyxes) will grow and overtake the mature ones. Nothing to worry about.

That's normal mate, the oldest pistils will die off and new ones will replace them, this process will keep repeating until you have lovely buds and then harvest time.

My white widow just did the same thing I moved my led up higher took about a week too recover stunted burned a few leaves

On one of my plants 15 days into flower I can tell the pistils are darker maybe even purplish the the other which are white. I do clearly remember that the seed came from purple genetics, just curious if this is caused by the genetics or if there is an issue possibly going on?Week 9

What are these white hairs near the flower?Please see the attached picture. What are these white hairs to the left of the flower?
I don't see this anywhere else on this plant, with the exception of one fine strand elsewhere.

I broke the “dark” time because I’m dumy, the plants start re-vegg and as my plants are auto I don’t know what do. The light time was 20/4 but I change to 18/6. Can you help me?

She grows indoors. Peak DLI was almost 60 but very briefly about one night. Now it's dimmed to 40dli/~600ppfd/ 20/4 schedule.
