Continuing calmag deficiency

minigrowwstarted grow question 3 years ago
What I think is a calmag deficiency started about 10 days ago. At first I thought it was too low PH (6.0 - 6.1), so I corrected that, but no luck. Then I started adding biobizz calmag, still no luck. It seems that the deficiencies are picking up speed again. Any ideas appreciated

After looking at your diary, it seems your problems are nutrient related - or the lack of nutrients to be more precise. Apart from the "Jungle Urban B" all the other things you are giving are not really plant foods that supply the most important "macro" nutrients, nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium. Even the jungle urban b is rated at 0-5-4 which means that your plant is not getting a balanced diet, with the yellowing being no doubt caused by the complete absence of nitrogen, the most vital macro nutrient. Even the canna boost accelerator is 0-13-14 which again has no nitrogen. At this stage, your plant has consumed all residual nitrogen in the substrate and your plant is basically starving, as indicated by the rapid yellowing of the leaves. Cannabis does still needs nitrogen during flowering, but not as much as when in veg. Therefore your plant is living on a diet of phosphorus and potassium only, which may account for the brown blotches on the leaves and they may not, in this case, be a sign of cal/mag deficiency. To rescue your plant and to keep it on the path of successful flower development, adding some nitrogen will be essential. Do not go over board and think that if you give it heaps it will solve all the problems in one go, rather give it some half strength "grow" nutrients and drop all the nutrients you have been using for the next 3-4 feeds or until you can see the plant picking up in health, with a much nicer green colour appearing in the new leaves. After this, feeding with the other parts of the "Jungle Urban" system, part A and part M, will keep your plant healthy and be providing a balanced diet by using all 3 parts of the jungle urban "system" that are designed as a 3 part complete food/nutrient solution. By only using part B, means your plant has been missing out on the rest of the nutrients it needs to grow and which are contained in parts A and M, to make the complete nutrient solution in the "jungle urban" system. Hope this helps,......... Organoman.

Looks like you are suffering from a wide array of deficiencies. This is usually a pH problem, a lockout caused by a concentrated booster, or just not feeding enough. If you're in soil, get you pH up to 6.5-6.8 in this stage.

I had a similar problem on my last grow. Turned out I was actually overwatering. It is especially easy to overwater in soil. Overwatering can lead to nutrient lockouts which is why you’re seeing deficiencies.
