germination Problems :/

I just lost some seed like that tap root turned black and just didn't end up sprouting after that I started soaking my seeds in cup of water for 24hrs that planted in peat pods got 3 Bruce banner fems. So as they crack open I place into pods

Hello! They usually germinate before 6 days, but that doesn't mean something bad is happening; some seeds can take even 2 weeks to germinate. Be patient, I take this opportunity to ask how you are germinating them. Do they have enough moisture? Too much water can rot them, and too little may not be enough. They should be without light or with very little indirect light. Do they have some air? You can keep them in a closed container, but the seeds also need a certain amount of air to avoid rotting.
