looks like those are cotyledons visible? maybe, the tap root is stuch inside teh shell.. happened to me recently.. sprouted, looke dokay.. .died, cause just under surface the tap root never escaped shell and never reached the soil.. oops. give it a second.. if you can clearly see the coty's and other seed shows long taproot in that time, worth an investigation. but, for now, best to let nature give it the old college try first.

No, I don't think it's dead at all! I can see the two leaves of the cotyledon and the tap root .. leave it be! Or plant it.. it will be fine! Good luck!

Fuzzy mold seedlings I’ve been getting the white fuzzy mold on my freshly popped seedlings after I put the in new HP pro mix/earth worm casings soil. I use a little rooting powder but other than that nothing else. I plan to pre spray next time with neem oil. Will this help with the mold/damping off?

3/6 seeds not coming above ground After two weeks of having seen sprouts coming out of all 6 seeds between paper towels, I've only seen 3 come above ground. Should I wait just a bit longer, or carefully clear away the direct and check what's going on? Maybe they're growing upside down (had it once before)?
