FIM Advice

I fimmed the side branch growth in the first photo on 2/4/21. Doesn't look like it worked. When i fimmed, the growth looked like the second photo. Did I FIM too soon? Does the growth in the third photo look good to FIM at the point where my thumb is? Am i not supposed to FIM this

FIM top branch promote side branche to grow. I pinch side branch off to get top column to grow. If you want many braches - yes you fimmed way too soon. If you want one power tower, good job.

So I tent to only top or fim a branch once there's at least 3 nodes and its closer to the top of the canopy. This allows lower branches to keep growing taller and become true tops. Through this and lst you can end up with some fantastic little shrubs. Hope this helps and happy growing :)
