Means you didn't fim far enough down and just took a chunk out of the leaves on the node you attempted to fim, it seems.
I'd personally just top it. Easier that way.

I would just cut it back a little further at the stem and just top it.

Any thoughts on how to get FIMing right and how this one turned out?Any thoughts on how this FIM is turning out? I've been trying to learn how to properly FIM a plant and I've tried a couple of times. Here's my latest attempt but I don't think I'm gonna get the results I I'm looking for. Bigger leaves shading lower branches??As you can see in my last photos (DAY 28) plants are developing lower side branches. Should I get rid off the larger leaves which shade the lower branches? I already tried to bend down the larger leaves to make room for the lower branches. What do you suggest? Veg for 15 more day6y ago

11-15 cm, too small for fimming ?So I overfed them last week and now they are quite small (chlorosis). Most of them have 4 to 5 nodes. Should I wait for them to be taller (25-30cm ?) and greener for fimming ? I'm aiming to lollypop them later, I don't have much width. Thx !
