How many nodes are recommended before I start to FIM? And how often should I FIM?

Wait for a healthy plant. 6+ nodes is generally safe and tends to work better if the axillary growth is begun at least initially, as oppose to little immature nubs. The beginnings of leaves at those nodes will help greatly.

FIM is just like topping so I'd say soon as see the true leaves start. Not sure how often but topping it's every 3rd.

Too late to top these autos? I'm at the end of 3rd week.
Should I have topped this one a couple days ago? These girls have been very vigorous. The only thing that gave me pause was these miniscule white pistils right here. Can I snip em, you think? Or bad idea? And if yes, should I FIM instead?

Gracias anticipadamente.

Top and then FIM auto?
I topped this ILGM skunk auto on Day 12 and she’s tolerated it well. Today is Day 14. I want to go all-in and now Fim the new growth. risky, but I’m going for it. I’d love to hear from anyone who has tried this. Should I fim new growth on both sides vs just one? Thx!

Regarding Fimming?
First time FIM for my baby but I’m not sure if I did it right ... There is a very tiny grow in the middle that I noticed today - the two picture are 30 hours apart - did I get it right or did I FFIM lol :p ? Also the plant is still pretty short - should I start LST?

How to top to make more colas (mainline)
I was curious if anyone could help me understand how they train their plant to separate into like 7 or 8 different branches right down at the bottom of the stem. Almost looks like multiple topping on top of each. Any advice? Added a photo for more clarity.

Topping
Hi guys. Do my plants need topping if I have little space (60x40x120cm) and I am planning a scrog? Are the plants ready for topping? After topping, I plan to use only lst + scrog, no mainlines/manifolds. I also plan to turn on the lights 12/12 in a week or two. Thanks!

First time FIM, does it look normal a few days later?
Hi Growmies, Just wondering if this FIM attempt is looking any good a few days on? It's just that I am struggling to visualise how it will end up? To me, she looks like she is carrying on growing in the "Christmas tree" format. Did I miss a FIM lmao? Is that possible? lol.. TY

Did I FIM and train correctly enough?
hoping my plant looks like she's supposed to. She is an autoflower, and I did a lot of stressful training. FIM, LST, and defoliation. I wont be training her from here on, I don't want to add more stress. last grow with same seed started showing bananas 2 weeks before harvest.

Should I remove some of the dense foliage as I start LST, or wait? Other suggestions appreciated!
The Durban Poison and Jack 47 are very dense, with tight nodes. I’m beginning LST this week to get more light to more of the branches, but should I prune some of the excess foliage? If so, how do I decide what to remove? Thanks in advance for your help!
