Hi So I’m doing some clones from my mother plant before I flower her. I’ve always been under the impression you can’t take cuttings from cutting you should always use the plant that came from the seed. Is this ture and what’s the reason thanks for your answers

The cuttings from your cuttings are still part of the mother plant, since there is no other genetic material involved. The mother plant grows a branch. You take a cutting. The cutting grows more branches. You take a cutting from the cutting. The cutting from the cutting is still part of the mother pant as this cutting grew from a cutting that was a branch from the mother plant, meaning the cutting from the cutting is still the mother plant. Hope this helps,........ Organoman.

You can take cuttings from your cuttings... As long she is grown up enough! It is great to do so if you find a greap genotype you appreciate the most or you cannot find other good seeds! Good luck and welcome to the club!
