sure. I like to wait until I have 3 nodes to do so. u could have let them grow a bit more to take them, losing the fan leaf won't really affect that shoot at this point. but you went ahead and took them clones I think you'll be fine. 3 nodes just ensures greater success. u don't even need rooting gel with 3 good nodes. I'll use the flesh of aloe vera and sometimes not even that. good luck man

Dear Henry, Yes they are a bit small to be a clone, but their fan leaves dying doesn't mean that they will not grow. Just keep feeding. She looks healthy and those stems will grow more. Try to get clones between 10-20 cm (5-8 inches) to get the most out of it. See my latest defoliation (7th week) on my grow (Jack Harrer). Hope this helps, Happy growing, Y

Yes you can clone them now if you want however I would advise to let them get a bit bigger. If they are too small the stems will just rot. Wait till they are about 6 inches long or more is usually a good length. Small short clones tend to grow into bushes with alot of wasted grow time lollipoping them to make the plant more suitable in grow height.

They will root if keep with great care! Success rate will be higher on a cloner or bubbler with good rooting hormones! I have cloned 3 cm plants on 3 centimeter pots. Happy smokes!

remove algea on coco?i got some algae on coco after high humidity from the cloning chamber, it spread on some of them after repotting and onto wet clay pebbles im thinking rh will go down eventually and plants will shade the algae later should i try to remove it or just let time fix this by itself?

Cloning- When cloning what ph and ppm do you usually stay at or does every plant have different likes?I have been trying different levels and seeing the changes. 3 clones just burned at 5.5 ph 89 ppm. But those same 3 were fine at a higher ppm with a ph of 6. Should I lower ppm and keep at 5.5 or back to 6? They haven’t rooted in 7 days. And what water level do you keep on them?

CLONES IN LIMBO?3 weeks ago I cloned some tops. Other than looking alive, there's nothing visible going on with them. Is this normal? They were sprayed with Flying Skull Clone Guard and dipped in Flying Skul Carbon Copy. Feeding BioBizz every 4 days with the rest of the grow.
