Determining Trichome Readiness: Advice on Equipment or Techniques

I absolutely suck at harvesting and using the mini 🔬to determine trichome readiness. I don't have a steady hand, and it takes me forever to see if it's clear, milky, or amber. I see a lot of people on here with some ridiculously amazing up close photos of even their trichomes.

Jewellers loop on Amazon are cheap. USB microscope are cheap and great for the not so steady hand. Stacks some cups and stuff to raise it to the height. I use the jewellers loop with my phone and it works great for me.

1 Plant good nugs 4 Plants are airy flaky not dense at all.My last grow had 5 plants going & overwatered once & believe had some runoff that the plants sat in. I suspect this damaged them pretty significantly. One of the plants came out amazing, nice dense strong nugs. The other 4 plants have airy nugs not dense at all. What caused this?Buds. Other

Excessive pistol development?Does this extreme pistol growth appear potentially normal? Or does she look stressed out. Just concerned about this one. No signs of nanners that I can tell. How much longer?I have 2 different phenos of auto AK. The one at the back (yellowing one) is much fatter. About 50% pistils curled, trichomes milky. How much longer do you reckon they will take? According to the breeder it would be 1-3 more weeks, I am planning to keep going for 2 weeks.
