Remove Half-Solo Cup from pot, or leave it?

when growing using that technique you usually just remove the cup. Take a scissor and cut it length wise it should easily slide out leaving the earth behind if you do that. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Hello, I understand your concern. Now I see what a thermal cup is, so no worries, with patience and love, cut it on one side until halfway down its depth, then open it with your hands. This will free the roots. Between 2 fingers on the edge, give it half-turn movements clockwise and counterclockwise. Also, pull upwards very slowly and gently. Forecast that the cup will come out of the pot. Don't worry, the roots will survive. For such surgery 😌 give them a lot of care and affection. Good job 👍

Now then,I'd gently take it out asap.You've only got to slide it up haven't you?It won't harm it but It will restrict your roots if you don't,and the majority of your roots are in the top half of the pot.For the 1 wk I'd put it straight into the main pot next time.I just put an empty plastic bottle over the top for a week for the perfect environment.One of those cups with a few holes in would do.I wish I had your weather.Its going to freeze in the UK in the next couple of days.2wks into drying and curing my GSC from Fast Buds but had 3 pulls on my Vape with it yesterday and boy its strong.3 pulls lasted for hours.Doesn't taste the best yet but that will improve with time.In a very crowded room it averages 3-4 ounce.In coco with the best food and boosters though.
