Is it possible to work with different substrates in the same tent? I was thinking of growing 2 out of 10 plants in hydro and the rest normally in soil. I've had experience growing in soil twice but might want to switch it up.

There is no reason you can not do different growing methods (hydro, soil) in the same tent. Obviously each method has it's own requirements but there is no reason they can't live in the same tent, room or building.

I'm very eager to learn and actually want to know if I might do better with Hydro than with soil. Or can I manage to have 2 on Hydro as a newbie on the side?

If your doing different medium then you will need to use different ph for the 2 substrate.

False reading or Hi PH?Is 20% humus lombrico mixed in my substrate giving a false ‘hi’ ph reading? Or is it truly over the max reading? I got one reading of 7 only at the exact second I took the picture, so I made a video. My water is high in calcium, I recently switched to distilled.
