Theoretically your final outcome will be determined by the amount of light you have per square meter of canopy it’s shining on. 3 small plants takes less time to fill the space so will take less time overall to finish. 1 plant can still fill the same space but will require more veg time to obtain the same results. But it really all comes down to how much good quality light you have over a certain space. If you look at a lot of commercial seeds they actually say a grams per square meter amount. Some strains go as high as 700g per meter square. But it doesn’t really matter how you fill that meter square, more the amount of light you Have on it. Lol hope this helps, cheers 💨

I’d say go for 2 big girls in big pots, That’s my plan for my next run.

you can probably get a much bigger yield with a huge plant, but the time it will take is actually gonna make it "not worth it" , if you count lifecycle time from seed/clone to harvest you can do more cycles in a year just about putting you over what you can produce if you take one plant in a 4x4 over a year. But you can really pull over a KG from a single plant if you do it right and over a long period of time. in your case , you only have enough space for three, so you dont have enough space for such a huge plant anyway, in the end it will be three plants the size of the one so you'll surely get three times the yield (or some leeway for mistakes). Does that make sense? Hope this helps ! 🚀

I would suggest one photoperiod plant, topped and SCROGged as giving the best yield, as this way you can control the veg period and switch to flowering only once the space is completely filled. Forget autos if yield is your goal, they will flower as soon as they are old enough and may not come close to filling your tent before they start flowering. 3 plants will fill the space quicker, but you get a lot of smaller buds growing beneath the canopy. I have tried both ways and the SCROG method wins hands down. It may take a bit longer to fill the space, but there is much less work involved with only one large pot and having only one plant to worry about keeping hydrated and well fed. Having an even canopy via the SCROG net also ensures you get mostly large flowers all growing from the same plane, maturing at the same time and with some well considered "lollipopping", a minimal amount of small shitty buds. If you only have one light, setting your SCROG net in either a slight vee shape or bowl shape, will allow the outer branches at the edge of the tent to be closer to the light and basically receive the same amount of lumens as the flowers growing directly beneath the light, as light intensity lessens over distance. With 3 plants under one light, this would mean each of the three will be growing away from the centre of the tent and into areas of diminished light intensity. Hope this helps,........ Organoman.

The 3 plants will fill the space faster than just the one and in return filling the space is what's going to get you a bigger yield.
