Can I use a 600w hps mh setup in a 2.7 x2.7 tent. The light comes with a dimmable ballast so I can set it down to 250w. Will this be over load for such a small tent. Gonna be growing autos under this I have a 6 inch vent kit the light is also a air cooled 6in reflector

One of my first grows was MH/HPS 400W in a 2'x3'x5' closet. @400W for just 3 plants, it seemed overkill. You should be fine doing the 250W setting until they adjust, then you may want to push up to 300/350W if necessary. I definitely wouldn't go any higher.

Light intensityMy plants have been looking sad for a couple weeks. Tried everything then the other night I turned my light down to 40% giving a DLI of 28 they perked right up with 24 hours. I have now put it up to 60% giving a DLI off 39 will this be ok or should I keep it low. Week 2 flower.
