Don't remove any leaves, this will just slow growth due to the reduction in energy production. I would be leaving your plants alone to let them get established and growing properly before introducing any training techniques. Training them while they are still trying to get their act together and adjusted to their new home can be asking too much of them, best to do one step at a time. Hope this helps,........ Organoman.

It's a clone, take of 2 or 3 of the big fan leaves if the clone has roots. They are too heavy for that young of a clone. I'd remove 50% of them and get a fan gently blowing on the plant it will create mini breaks in the stem that will heal and make it stronger and stronger. Don't worry about space between nodes until it starts growing new leaves it can be fixed later

Don't tie down. Look at my grows. All I do is cut the main stem (top once) and let the plants do the rest. Cutting the main stem shoots growth hormones to other parts of the plant. I usually get 10 to 16 main strong heavy branches from topping once with no other training required. People who spend week's training and tying down are just wasting their time. Why spent 6 months on a grow with unnessesary techniques. Top once and let it grow..4 week veg 8 week flower. Get 4 grows done a year. Keep pounding them out. Go join a growing forum and all the users who used to tie down and train realized it wasn't cost effective. This is my advice. Feel free to take it or not..my grows speak for themselves tho (In the passion fruit grow it looks like I trained them I did not. I let them grow naturally then just tied them down a bit at about 6 weeks into their life to get more light down to the bottom)
