Because it is in a tiny cup with inadequate room for root growth and not enough light either. I have never heard of "soil less" potting mix. I thought that was perlite or vermiculite. Don't worry about the dots on those leaves, the first few leaves often have funny marks on them and they will not affect your plants growth after you transplant it into a suitably sized container. Besides, your plant is too young to even know about deficiencies and throwing cal/mag at everything is not the answer to everything. When you repot it, you can safely bury it up to the cotyledons,(small rounded growths/"leaves" and this will stabilize your plant and in time the buried portion of stem will sprout roots and aid in your plants growth. A pot made out of dark thick plastic and about 4 inches across and 5 inches deep is far better for seedling growth and will provide enough room and nutrients in the soil for up to 3 weeks growth without the need to feed, presuming you buy a decent seed raising mix. Hope this helps,........... Organoman.

hi there, You're probaby using "potting soil" which is actually a "soil-less" medium, so you need to add calmag and nutrients from the start. Just try adding those and see for yourself. Hope this helps ! 🚀
