Light coloured leaves with yellowish brownish patch.

I'm a first time grower. My plants look a little light in colour, and two out of three have developed yellow/brownish patches. I'm not sure if it's overwatering, underwatering, too much or too little light or a lack of nutrients. The plants are on day 19 of their growth.

@ Thraxa I've tested my water with pH-strips and it's between 6-7, which should be fine. So yeah, I'm really out of ideas, as all the things that could be the culprit I've checked and/or changed. I'll just wait and see now and let the soil get dry to the touch before I'll do anything else. Maybe it's just this particular strain that doesn't like my conditions or whatever. I've now ordered some perlite and vermicultite in addition to some mycorrhizae. If these plants don't develop then I'm ready to try with another strain and modified conditions.

I checked your soil which should have enough nutrients to get them started. But your seedling is definetly not taking up the nutrients . Soil is usually fed around 6.5 . Are you ph'ing your water ? Could be a lockout issue . But rare that happens at the seedling stage .

I was having the same problem. Until I used a heating mat and humidity dome. "Humidity was myy number 1 problem" I started using espoma seedling dirt with a bag of vermiculite added and my plants thrived. No nutrients at all, just PhD water

Hey, as you say in your description, they need some Nitrogen and some calmag too. The brown spot is probably a calmag deficiency. If the colour doesn’t change, raise your lights if it’s light burn. Good luck and hope this helps! 🌸

I'm using a pre-fertilized soil you would usually use for growing vegetables. The ph of the soil is 6.0. https://www.biolan.fi/tuotteet/biolan-turvemulta.html

Hi you are quite focused in your light, thats good. your light between 60 and 70 cm is asweet spot for them, iam starting ooften on 75 cm and let them grow upwards to the light. but i think your problem is the growmedium... it seems to be not ideal for growing mj looks to me as if the ph of the medium is wrongg and dhe cant uptake the nutes ( wich are lots into normally... what soil are you using=?

What substrate are you using ? Soil, Coco? I assume Coco as she looks like she needs some nutes . I had this on my first grow, stunted seedling for 23 days just giving water in coco lol until I fed her a small bit of calmag and a and b. 0.7 EC. Some rhizo for stress and the roots. Then she took off 🚀🌱
