yan402answered grow question 22d ago Hey, no stress, you’re doing the right thing by asking. We’ve all had rough starts, and honestly this is fixable. That plant’s definitely stunted for week 7, and here’s what might be going on:
Overwatering is the first thing that jumps out. The soil looks heavy and probably holds too much moisture. Cannabis roots need air, especially early on. If the pot stays wet too long, growth just stops. Try letting it dry out more between waterings — feel the weight of the pot to judge when it’s ready.
That yellowing could be from early feeding. HESI TNT is strong, and seedlings don’t need much, especially not in the first couple weeks. If you gave nutrients too soon or too often, it might’ve burned the roots and slowed everything down. I’d hold off on feeding for a bit.
Your light levels sound fine (300–400 PPFD is solid), but double-check your temperature and humidity — around 22–26°C and 60–70% humidity is ideal for seedlings.
If you’re not seeing growth after all this time, it might just be better to start fresh. Totally normal for the first run. Next time, use a light soil mix (add some perlite if you can), skip nutrients for the first 10-14 days, and go easy on the watering.
