Too early for defoliation/topping?

Im a beginner on 2nd grow however i have 4 plants. I want to try different things. On 2 of my GSC I've started LST. On the other GSC do you think i can get rid of the the big fan leaves at this stage or is it too early?
On the Jack Herrer, (3) is it too small for topping?

I would strongly advise against any leaf removal, it is not needed!
Defoliation just reduces your plants capacity to produce energy, slowing and possibly stunting growth.
I like to have 8-12 nodes before topping any plant.

Too much foliage? Not too sure.Should I thin this out? The canopy is about 8" deep, so 4 layers of foliage. It looks like it's still a bit much. Should I defoliate during flowering outdoors?(Autoflower) Should I defoliate? I made the rookie mistake of doing NO defoliating or lst during vegging, cuz they were skinny then.
