Where to prune fan leaves?

Ok y'all, was hoping for a simple, hands off grow with just one topping early on. These babies have turned into dense bushes, and I want to defoliate the undercarriage a bit. Fan leaves are huge from the base to the top, so do I just prune out the lower, older fans?

Yes enough so she can breathe cus it's still to early for budsites but some fresh breeze then go for it! Best of luck 👍
