Week 7 coming up 2d week in flowering mode. Should I trim more lower leaves out, and perhaps some upper canopy leaves?

In my opinion, no, your plant needs every healthy green leaf she has, to make the energy she needs to grow her biggest and best flowers. Less leaves = less energy = less growth. It is that simple and basic plant biology 101. Defoliating during flowering is the absolute worst time to defoliate, but then again, I do not believe in defoliating ever, and especially not autos. Hope this helps, Organoman.

Canopy looks fine to me, no defoliation needed. Just make sure you've got airflow flowing through the canopy and you're good to go.

Check my OG Diesel Kush autoflower diary out. I defoliated multiple times in veg and also in week 2 or maybe week 3 of flowering. I wish I'd of done more or atleast pulled the branches out more with LST. I'm not saying you should do this, but with practice and testing a strain on a couple grows to test it will allow you to learn what you can do. I always train and defoliate my plants heavily. I have gotten good results. It's best to use known stable Genetics aswell. Don't train bag seeds to heavily as they can hermie. Good Genetics don't hermie unless something gets out of hand.

No. In my opinion you should not defoliate a plant in the first 30 days of flower it can cause mutations and even herms. The plant is already going through a very complex stage to add more stress on top of this could push her over the edge I may also add that every healthy fresh leaf you remove is depriving the plant on that energy it could be using to bulk up them buds alot more :) More surface area of fans the more light being converted into sugars and energy for your plant to utilize as food :)
