Hi mate, best advice i can give you is to get yourself a humidity controller. Inkbird do a good one. Plug both the humidifier and the dehumidifier in it and set your RH and it is very good at keeping it steady. Good luck and happy growing.

Thanks for all answers I do think the canopy it's quite thick and air is not circulating properly - didn't defoliate in flower , just before the flip It's my first dehumidifier , didn't knew much . I'll see what I can do in the mean time , I'll get a bigger fan today/tomorrow

That dehumidifier won't do anything. Too small. I have humidity issues , so will usually defoliate quite heavily . This reduces humidity. A good extractor with negative pressure will remove humidity. Dehumidifiers work but you need to get them decent sized unit ones for them too work which can be a little pricey ..

Shouldn't be necessary to hang over plants, but do need to circulate air really well at the bottom as well, otherwise it may just be trying to dehumidify already dehumidified air. Humidity consistent at bottom of tent (where dehu is) and top of canopy? RH also jumps when air cools as warmer air a larger capacity for moisture.

If that is a Peltier dehumidifier it is almost useless. You need a dehumidifier that has a compressor.

I have 2 fans blowing full speed on top of canopy , check my diary , you can see them air sucking from bottom of tent on wall side . I have the tent in my dormitory , shouldn't be that high humidity Canopy is quite thick , can't say for sure that air flow penetrates to bottom

You need a "bigger" dehumidifier. I use a 60pint a day and it runs ...a lot. Naturally your Temps will drop at night and your humidity will rise. You can vent air out with a exhaust fan if your outside Temps aren't too low and humidity isn't high instead.

do you have adequate circulation inside your tent. like a fan at the top blowing hot/wet air down, and another circulating at the floor level. If the canopy is thick enough it could be creating a wall if there isn't enough vertical air movement.
