Damaged Cotyledon - What should I expect?

TinyTenter
TinyTenterstarted grow question 2 years ago
The seed sprouted with a helmet, When it fell off, one of the cotyledons was damaged for some reason and never developed. 6 days in, growth is relatively slow (and small?). If you've experienced this b4, should I expect a poor grow as a result of this mishap? Thanx

I’d say that’d would be your reason for the slow growth. She’ll be fine when she’s up a bit. This won’t affect her in later life once she’s developed. Good luck bro 💪

Thanks for your help! @Papa_T @Thinlizy @KushReloaded 😀👊👍🙏 So it's a little bit of a crapshoot, huh? I should have added a picture of what she looks like now. So dumb I didn't do that. She's developed leaves, she just might be a bit behind schedule? I'm gonna wait at least two more days to see how she is turning out. She has way more leaf area than cotyledon now, so I think the growth I get over the next couple of days (as I increase ECs too) will tell the most about what she's all about. Thanx again!

Hey hey brother!! She may be a bit slow but she might surprise. Plus cotyledons aren’t really super important in the grand picture. The first real set of leaves are developing well so I’d stick with it. Good luck bro 🤙

I have had some gnarly looking seedlings in the first week or two. Some turn out great others are a waste of time. I would give it a week or two and see how it preforms.
