I am growing critical purple from growers choice seeds and it is towards the end of the first week of veg for me and I noticed the middle of the leafs/ stems turn purple and I was wondering if that is normal

Yes, it is normal for some plants and nothing to worry about.
It is after all, called "Critical Purple" for a reason.

Nutrient imbalance or healthy development?Are the colors of the leaves a sign of healthy development in the flowering stage, or a sign of nutrient deficiency/excess? Possible overfeeding nutes?Could someone possibly identify the issue on that one leaf? I had another like that a bit worse that where the edges started to curl. They were fan leaves so I ended up removing them as they were a bit worse off. Doing much better now, only guess is too much nutes.
