Purple stems ?

I am growing critical purple from growers choice seeds and it is towards the end of the first week of veg for me and I noticed the middle of the leafs/ stems turn purple and I was wondering if that is normal

Yes, it is normal for some plants and nothing to worry about. It is after all, called "Critical Purple" for a reason. Cheers, Organoman.

N or P deficiency?Need help to understand if this is P or N deficiency. It's on the lowest fan leaves, one is more pronounced than the other, and it's mostly on one side. Stems and veins look like they're giving hints of P def but from what I searched leaves look like it could be N def.
