Switching my plants to flower this saturday, how long should I wait for them to adjust before defoliating? Also, how much is too much, was thinking of clipping at least 50% of the fan leaves.

Hi! I do the first defoliation when I switch to flowering (the same day), but only the main stems. She'll recover from the stress in the same time she realized the photoperiod change. Then, I do it again 2~3 weeks later, when I add guano powder to the soil (more phosphorus for more flowers). But as Fempkid told you, your plants must be in a good shape to support that kind of stress.

I looked at your diary. First I would get the plant healthier before flower cycle. Blue cheese will grow very tall during its stretch, its a sativa dominant plant. It also likes nutrients alot. I personally would not defoliate until after stretch. Good luck with your grow!
