Oh btw if your worrying about mites or thrips, buy some of those yellow sticky papers and place them both at the soil level(mites) and hang directly above the plant(thrips) if theyre present they will be spotted stuck to the little papers and youll know exactly what bugs you do, or dont have. If you can look up a podcast called kis organics science and cultivation podcast and listen to the bug lady episode, it has incredible amount of useful info.

@Raaneal, that's awesome you were able to find another place for them. I had a similar problem with where my grow was, too many things interfering with the sun. The bugs i just saw in the comment section of your diary about the thrips, i didnt know if anyone had recommended the sticky papers. Too often we go crazy on a bug before we're positive of which bug it is...i know im very guilty of kill now ask questions later.

@Experimentgreen, the bugs were an issues a while back, but not now. I had originally planned on trying to use my sunroom as the grow space, but it kept getting too hot, no air flow and just not constant sun, so I moved them inside and started piecing together my grow tent. Once they were inside, I just visually inspected and killed the bugs, and eventually they just went away. I will take a look into the podcast though, always looking for something new to listen to on my commute. 😁

No wonder bugs hate it!! Coriander oil is less effective but repels bugs anyway, and it smells terrific! Make it strong

Nice grow! I would start giving them nutrients. Plus, your stems are small because they are streching. With a good light, like the one you get, will help your plants. When you will transplant, try to burry the stem so your plant will have a better support!

Hi bro , It could be thrips or red spiders under your leaves ! Neem oil is the best cheaper natural product against almost any bugs ! Think about it and good luck

Hi @Raaneal! You're having a thrips invasion, I think I can even see one of those bastards on your picture #2. They are tiny insects that suck the nutrients out or your leaves, they hide below the leaves and everywhere they can, and reproduce very quickly in hot environment. The best solution I found so far is using neem-oil mixed with water, and spray this foliar solution at night when the lights are off. Remember to spray above and below the leaves. Your local growshop or your local garden store should have pure neem-oil for you, you'll just have to mix a few drops with non-calcareous water (I usually use 10 to 15 drops for 1L of solution). I think a lot of the issues your having are due to heat and the soil type, I would definitely recommend using coco,it works more like a hydroponic, very hard to overwater, doesn’t store nutrients for as long so you can manage nute burns easier as well. I would definitely keep a fan blowing cool air just above them, I like to keep tempatures at a nice 25 degrees Celsius, anything more than 30 can be risky. Your plants are recovering nicely, keep giving nice amounts of calmag - remember it’s called “weed” for a reason, you can be surprised how they bounce back 👌🏻😊 keep persistent, your doing a good job! ☺️

@Larimar, They are in my sunroom and even with the windows open I dont think they get much of a breeze.I have bought a fan off amazon, and Im hoping that helps I will start leaving that on during the day. Sun they get all day long, in the morning its more indirect, but from 11am - 7pm I checked on it and where they are sitting it just beams on them, and then it starts setting and is indirect again until 9pm. Let me know what you think, maybe I should move 2/4 onto the back patio and see if they start progressing faster than the 2 that will be left in the sunroom?

@Larimar,Im not at home right now, but its like a 10x10 room, white ceiling, hardwood floors, walls are all sliding windows, it faces west, and I have the plants along the south wall. Windows are set about 2 ft. off the floor and go right to the ceiling, maybe I should put the plants on a table instead of the floor so that they are right in the windows instead of under them? Hope thats some kind of help if not I'll clean up my mess and take a photo when I get home LOL.

To your plants outside and why they are looking not so good. in the picture i vcan see that it was very hot. the leaves rolling up (tacoing). and if it is so hot the plants stop growing. and just survive the heat. wait for better conditions or put them in a place whith enough shadow.

@Raaneal hmm... the stems lokking very thin ... does she get air/wind... and how much sun dos they get. for me its looks like not enough . they are underdeveloped and stretching for sun/light
