All lights are made with different specs and plants need more light as they get bigger and mature . So I would recommend starting with the manufacturers recommendations and then adjust as weeks go by to what you think the plant can or cannot handle. 🌱👍

It should tell you recommended hang heights in your booklet you go with it when you bought it if not quick google search with your light and then hanging heights afterwards you should easily find it I know with my GN its 40cm to 100cm 40 seedlings 100cm full flowering :) Though I would say about 30cm from the plants will be way more than enough :)

These Bruce Banner #5 Fem plants stretched 3 x the size after switching.. 630w lights were at 100% 1st 2 weeks of 12/12 now @ 80% for last 2 weeks I've cable tied the lights to the tent bars and they still stretched within 3 or 4 inches. Should i raise the lamp to force the strech?I had the light the past few weeks 30cm over the plant on 100% wich has 930ppfd in 20h duration it was all together 65 DLI. I want to force the strech from now. Do you think i should raise the light up tp 50cm over the plant? The plant made nearly 20cm within the past weeks.

Light intensity My plants have been looking sad for a couple weeks. Tried everything then the other night I turned my light down to 40% giving a DLI of 28 they perked right up with 24 hours. I have now put it up to 60% giving a DLI off 39 will this be ok or should I keep it low. Week 2 flower.

Got a Mars Hydro TS600, will it do alright?My plan is to grow only 1 plant, in a 40x40x120 tent. I know the tent is pretty small but hopefully i can do some training on the plant to grow wide Will the light do until the end? 100wats, but no light dim possibility. Bad idea?Will a mars hydro TS1000 be too strong for a 60x60x140cm tent? I have been using a TS600 and TS1000 in tandem in a tent 4x too big for the light level, I have been growing strong and tasty buds but with low yields so downsizing my tent size to maximise the light.
