Flipping to flower!

Hi all, I’m just getting ready to make the flip to flower.. But interested to know how you all do it? Do you put them in darkness for a period first? Just flip? Change the light timings gradually? What’s your methods?

hello
I usually first think about my schedule and when I'll have time to tend to the plants(work, school, sleep gets in the way), environmental factors like if it's winter i try to run my lights more in the evening to keep them a little warmer when it's coldest. Stuff like that.
Then i just flip them. I don't ever run a 24 hour schedule so the transition from an 18/6 isn't ever so drastic that it pisses my plants of when they go to 12/12. Also if your environment is in good shape, temp humidity etc, and they're healthy going into flowering it should usually be a smooth switch.👍

Heya!
I personally just make the flip to 12-12 lighting without tapering it down. In addition to the light schedule change, I still use veg nutes the first two weeks of flower for the stretch and then switch to bloom nutes. I do know of a lot of growers who do flush before they flip to flower as well, I personally don't do this.

Just wondering if adding sunlight could improve it or makes no difference?Do you still need to give plants sunlight if they have a tent fan and ac plus led grow lights? Should I take her outdoors for 3/4 hrs daily ?They've got 53 days outdoors morning time and when the weather is good they used to stay outside all day til 6pm then back indoors until next morning at the AC comfort zone plus CFL 150 watts, now they have 600 watts LED Grow lights and no outdoors plus 100 CFL lights fan and AC4 years ago

Autos and light schedulesLast night my light timer broke. How sensitive are autos to their light schedule being messed with? i was on a 16/8 for the lsat few weeks.
