Size of final pot/bag

Is a 3 gallon pot/ bag enough as final pot for your plant? I’m 3 week in veg stage now. First time grower, indoor. Very simplistic setup is used.

OK for an auto, but if it is a photoperiod plant, 5 gallons minimum would be my suggestion.
The bigger the pot, the bigger the roots, the bigger the plant!

Just depends how big u want your girls to grow I've done 1 gal 3 gallon moved my to 5 gallon fabric pots bigger pot bigger yields

Is this an RO system?I found this is my basement of our new house and I'm wondering if this is an RO filtration system and if its worth trying to reconnect it as it appears to be bypassed. Should I repot to a pot with drainage?I have been reading that drainage is very important. I am using a very large terracotta pot, which does not have drain holes. Would it be recommended to repot, drill holes in the bottom or should it be ok?

Can you please tell me if the sides need to be covered with earth?When I covered the soil in the beginning it wasn't like that, but after waterings the soil shrunk and now there is space between the pot fabric and the soil. Should I add more soil to avoid root problems? And also the water drains down there and quickly runs downhill 😞
