Go off the weight off the pot. If its light water. If its heavy, leave it alone. With my seedlings I soaked the pot 24 hours before planting. Put seed in the next day and didnt water for about 10 days. Obviously it may be different for you depending on your RH and temps, pot size, etc. They need to dry out a little to create roots. If it doesnt they are going to drown due to lack of oxygen within the root zone.
So see how the pot feels now and wait for it to feel light.

Hurricane damage, any hope?So hurricane Ida came through and wrenched my poor Do-si-do over and did some damage to the roots. Stood her back up and supported but this morning she is hurting. Any advice on how to care for her in her time of need? Is what it is but still sad times. Winds were crazy.
