Wondering if anyone has ever used honey to promote rooting when planting germinated (cracked) seeds. Read that honey helps as a natural root enhancer. Only tried once so far as a test but seems not to hurt the seed, if dont do anything else. Wondering if anyone else does this?

Hello my friend Honey can act as a natural rooting stimulant. It can also be a useful supplement for those who use synthetic rooting hormones and want to add a biological stimulant. Honey has powerful antifungal and antibacterial properties, so it prevents infection of your roots. Some growers believe that honey contains special enzymes that promote root growth. Honey has a long shelf life, so if you buy a special gardening pot, you can use it for years.👍 To use honey as a root stimulant, cover the "wound" of your waist with a thick layer of honey and place it in a growing medium. Growers who use honey as a rooting agent can expect the roots to begin to form after 7-14 days. Good luck for your grow 🌱🤞

@Fusion Hi mate I use honey to promote rooting on any cuttings I take around the garden here at home I have not used it on any seeds as such but because honey has natural antibiotic properties I cannot see how it could harm it in any way Good luck with your experiment

Never heard of honey as a root enhancer. Iam using Aloe ( Fresh Aloe) to enhance the rootgrowth. be so Kind and tell us after trying it , if ist a fact or a myth. One Thing the honey will do for sure, feed the microbacterias in the soil ( carbs). How is the honey applicated=? as asolution or dipping the seeds into?
