@Drumsnbuds after reading for months, I chose DWC because I believe it's actually easier. I'm intimidated by soil lol

Roots at the base of stock above soilJust noticed what appears to be roots at the base of the stock after watering. Should these be covered back up from the light? Does it matter? White Mold at RootsI got some kind of white mold in the root area, I'm not sure what it is but I think I know what caused it, The reason is I was being kinda sloppy with letting the run off water sit under the plants for a day or two. Should I flush the plants now and cut them? And will it spread?Week 13

I've packed soil around the base of the trunk to reinforce.

Mold on roots??After having my ph problem "fixed" (plants are still turning lime), I wanted to check the second runoff, I lift up the pot, lo and behold, the roots have some "white" stuff around their tips, is this mold????
I can smear it on my finger, it leaves somewhat of a trail
